I have a brother - not real one.. but anyway hes my brother..
He is in US now .. when he came to Vietnam,we rarely speak to each other cuz we were both reserved.. I thought he was too quiet and did not want to speak. And he told me he thought i was too quiet.
so we were on chat today.. and we chatted..
and he was interesting!..
after uni time he does a part time job to help his mom.. He draws pics.. beautiful ones.. greeting cards. .. and asian flowers, dragons pictures...
i m so proud of him..

he got a 200 pages book full of his pics.. also a cute website with dragons paintings..this is just one little piece of his many cool art stuff..

next time he comes back we surely approach each other and chat.. and go around hanoi.. and surely will get lost.. ;)

so has been a while i havent updated my page..
just that too much work and school...
And dunno what to post yet..kinda lazy..

I just got this questionarrie on globalisation..
and this morning i went to british Council to do an pre exam( to know my level of English and if it is enuf to do IELST course)..

so how these two things connected?

It is that : i suddenly find out a SO CLEAR example of globalisation on youth (ie : me!)..

Before we dunno anything about such stuff like Tofle or IELTS... but now it is so globalized and came to vietnam too..
And every student thinks of those international exams created by US and UK edu system...Why? Cuz :
if u wanna study abroad u need them..
if u wanan find a good job in a company or NGo u need them
We do have English certificate from our School but it is not recognized at all when we apply for universities abroad or apply for good jobs here..

I think these kinda Exams (IELTS and TOFLE) is a live example of globalisation isnt it?.. we just have to take it just like a passport in this globalized world.....

But what is the problem?
a preparation course for them costs 300 USD
a exams fee is 110 USD
it is not much for american British..
But
Income of a vietnamese is 370 USD/year
And .
Tuation and other expense for a whole school year is 100 USD
Plus
With only 100 USD my fren's NGo in Cambodia can provide education/food for 50 kids in a month ..

Globalisation is a big issue... but we can actually see it in many examples in our normal lives and realize that we are so much effected by the process.
Just a thought...

its 11.30 now.. was int he street the whole evening with ym two Israle frens.. ate,chatted, walked from streets to streets of Hanoi in cold nice weather with happiness of people prepareing for Tet Holidays in the air..
So we were talking about music... and bands .. i cam complaining that cant find whole album of Travis in Vietnam.. had to download from web.. and AMAZing!! we happened to visit a CD shops... first its SOOOOOOO CHEAP!!! its like 2 dollars for 3 CDs... yAY!!! and they have TRAVIS!!!! and ALICia KEYS!!!... and STING!!!!.. so many cool cool artists... finally we saw a NOA cd (my fren's name is NOA) haha ;)... so Noa bought the NOa one and gave me... cool eh?.. we each bought a bunch of cds and got out with great feelings in the air.. yAY!!!...
lot sof cool stuff happening but well gotta sleep now.. ;).. tomorrow will be out again the whole day..
